Last night I had a Shock Top Lemon Shandy. I had a long day at work and was looking for something in the fridge to drink and was thinking I should start drinking up my summer beers to make room for my fall beers. I have been really lazy with writing because of being sick, being on vacation and long stints of working in a row. So for a little while my reviews will be kinda short. So far this has been my favorite summer seasonal beer. Even with being lazy and having it out the bottle a usual no no. It was just great. I left my wife have a taste and the first thing out of her mouth was oh that is good go get me one. This almost never happens so I know it was a good beer. It had a light lemon flavor that just gave it this great taste that was super easy to drink. Thanks for reading and as always drink responsibly.

SHOCK TOP LEMON SHANDY
Our Lemon Shandy is a unique take on the classic Shandy that is distinctly Shock Top.
Brewed with two row and six row malted barley and five different types of hops, this Belgian-Style Wheat Ale is then combined with citrus peels, coriander, natural lemonade flavor and a hint of sugar for a subtle sweetness. The end result is an incredibly refreshing, crisp and smooth beer that hits the spot as the thermometer heats up. We suggest you don’t wait to try it for yourself, as Shock Top Lemon Shandy will be gone at summer’s end.

Have you ever tried Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy?
ReplyDeleteWhich do you prefer?
I thought Shock Top's Lemon Shandy was better. Don't get me wrong Leinenkugel's was good to but the Lemon flavor was more refreshing in Shock Top's and made me and my wife both want more and Leinenkugel was just a good summer beer.
