This afternoon it was very sunny so I thought I would have a Sunshine Pils from Troegs brewery. According to the Troegs site it recommends serving in a pilsner glass at 40-45 degrees. I had a pilsner glass but the temperature ended up being around 49 degrees. The head came in at an average 2" in size with a rocky white appearance. The head lacing was good and the head dissipated quickly with medium carbonation. The clarity was sparkling with a straw color. The taste was grain and the aroma was floral. The flavor was moderate with an average finish length and a dry mouth feel. The tongue hit was towards the back and the body lacing was virtually none. Overall this was an excellent beer for a hot summers day and is super easy going down. Thanks for reading and as always drink responsibly.
