So it was Monday night and very few beers that I have not yet had at
Dorkos. So I seen that
Yuengling Lager was on special for a personal pitcher so I decided that this would be the choice of the night. It was definitely the right choice. I believe that this beer gave the RZA super natural powers which made us impossible to defeat. We went back and forth between being first and second and then made it into a three way tie breaker. We sent up our expert on Who music trivia and when the question of how many people got trampled and died in the 1979 Who concert our expert almost nailed it guessing 10 with the actual number being 11. So the RZA took home the trophy once again and further cemented our dominance as the greatest trivia champions ever. So the beer was a solid 36.3 degrees with a large 3" head with a fizzy off white appearance. The head lacing was excellent with soft carbonation and quick head dissipation. The color and clarity were amber and normal with a taste and aroma that were a mixture of barley and molasses. The flavor was light with a short finish and a watery mouth feel. The tongue hit was towards the back and it had good body lacing. Overall I would rate it an A but I am super biased because for the longest time this was my go to beer and its from my home town but still I would have to say its one of the best beers ever.
