1/7/12 Sudwrek Hubsch Pilsner

So I came home after another long day and decided I was going to have something out of an older variety pack that I hadn't had yet so I figured I would have a Sudwerk Hubsch Pilsner ( available at Brewer's Outlet in Pottsville). The temperature was 37.8 degrees with an average head of 2" and a fizzy white head appearance. It had excellent head lacing and dissipated slowly with lively carbonation. The clarity was sparkling and the color was straw with a mix of barley and citrus taste and aroma. The flavor was moderate and the finish was short with a watery mouth feel. The tongue hit was in the back with excellent body lacing. Overall I would say it was a good beer. It had something different about it being a light colored beer that had a lot of body and flavor with a good taste. I would rate it an A-. Thanks for reading and as always drink responsibly.
