12/8/11 Lancaster Brewing Company Oktoberfest

So I realize that once again I'm doing an Oktoberfest that can't be purchased right now but it wanted to try some other Oktoberfest beers and they were trades which I never refuse. So last night I had a Lancaster Brewing Company Oktoberfest. It came out of the fridge and landed into my pint glass at a nice 44.5 degrees. The head was large at 3 1/2" with a foamy appearance and a light brown color. The head lacing was excellent and the head dissipated slowly. The carbonation was soft with a flat body clarity and a amber color. Taste was on the dough side and the aroma was a mixture of caramel and toffee. The flavor was light and the finish length was average. The mouth feel was watery with a front tongue hit and excellent body lacing. Overall it had a good taste and was something different but just wasn't as good as what Flying Dog Dogtoberfest was so I rated it a B+.
