12/30/11 Full Circle Kolsch Style Beer from New Holland Brewery

So last night after my wife prepared a delicious super of home made seasoned french fries, and grilled portobella mushroom with lettuce and a poppy seed dressing on top a perused my fridge for the perfect beer to go with it. As I read the pairing on the labels for New Holland beers I had left I decided on Full Circle a Kolsch Style beer(available at Brewer's Outlet in Pottsville). The Temperature came in at 42.5 degrees with a large 3" head with a foamy white appearance. The head lacing was excellent and the head dissipated quickly. The clarity and color were sparkling and yellow with a citrus and clove aroma and taste. The flavor was light with an average finish length and a creamy mouth feel. It hit my tongue in the front and had good body lacing. Overall it was an A- it had a different taste and was pretty easy going down and went well with my super. I definitely enjoyed this New Holland beer and it was one of the better beers in the pack. Thanks for reading and as always drink responsibly.
