So I'm getting backed up with the Holidays I'm still drinking just not getting enough time to write the reviews on here. This is the beer that my brother drank and reviewed a couple of nights ago. I got another one from one of my trader sources so I have one to drink to write some comments on this review of my own. The beer he reviewed was
Sudwrek Lager (which is available at
Brewer's Outlet in Pottsville). The temperature of the beer was at 41.5 degrees. The head was average at about 2 1/2 inches with a foamy off white appearance and fair head lacing. The head dissipated slowly and the carbonation was medium. The body clarity was murky and the color yellow. It had an aroma of all spice and a light flavor. The finish length was average and the mouth feel was watery. The tongue hit was towards the front and it had fair body lacing. Overall he rated it an A saying that out of 10 random beers he would place it at the top. He stated that it had a good flavor and that the after taste was not overpowering and had a good flavor. He also stated that the beer was not really hoppy which is something he looks for in a beer. The website plays music and the bar looks like a great place to go but not a ton of info on the site I went on first but on
sudwerkbrew.com they have good information about their beers. Thanks for reading and as always drink responsibly.
What little information I could find on the Sudwerk website

ReplyDeleteThanks for the information. I tried it yesterday and I thought it was a pretty decent beer. I wouldn't rate it quite as high as my brother. I would probably say a B+ to A-. Good taste and not a bad beer.
